Bicycle PSA

Jacki Bubis

(:60) PSA

(a slow-paced, cautious voice)
Over 70, 000 people a year don’t protect their futures. They lose control.

(Bicycle chain rattles & crashes)
They fall.
(Sound of a body tumbling on the ground)
And sometimes…
(Ambulance siren whales)
They never recover.

The National Transportation Association has the answer to this tragedy: wear a helmet. Researchers say that wearing a bicycle helmet can prevent three out of four serious head-related injuries—A statistic that saves both the young and adult bicyclists.

You have the power to take control of your life. It’s as simple as getting on the bike. Simply add one more step to your riding routine and strap on a helmet. It could be the three-second step that saves your life. Join The National Transportation Association in becoming one of the several million people protecting their futures by wearing a helmet. A helmet is worth the buy, because your life is worth saving.

  1. I think the inclusion of the accident sounds makes it more engaging to hear. It'll make them want to hear the information that is followed right after it.

  2. Very nice usage of audio. Sometimes it takes a startling noise or sirens to get people's attention. This just might do the trick.
